1.9100 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer

2. Compact Turbimeter

Turbidity and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) are two of the most important indicator parameters for drinking water quality, natural/surface water management and wastewater treatment. The Compact Turbimeter uses unique QuadoptiX™ technology to provide:

4. Photometer 7100

The New Photometer 7100 is fully integrated with the Palintest system of water analysis. It offers a great value instrumental analysis for an extensive range of water tests. The photometer 7100 accurately assesses the colour formed in the test sample and displays the readings directly in concentration units on its large LCD screen – no more inaccurate results due to variation in operator eyesight or lighting conditions. Not only does the 7100 have the whole range of Palintest tests available, but is highly portable, and rugged in design. Its full IP67 rating means it is fully waterproof and ideal for on-site testing in any application. The unique adaptive cell holder automatically adjusts to the tube size, and accommodates any size vial with no adapter needed. The instrument interface comes with 5 languages built in, and a large easy to read backlit display with easy to navigate menu. 5. Photometer 7500

The Palintest Photometer 7500 takes portable water testing to new heights. The smooth good looks cover a solidly engineered instrument with a high specification and high performance. Built around the Palintest range of water test reagents, the Photometer 7500 has automatic wavelength selection for each of its pre-programmed methods. Smart, rugged and easy to use, the 7500 is the ideal field instrument for engineers. § Fully waterproof with IP67 rating § Rugged, portable design with no moving parts § Automatic method set up for each parameter § USB port for easy computer interface § 500 test results stored on-board § Large backlit screen. 6. Photometer 8000

The Palintest Photometer 8000 sets a new standard for water quality testing and ease of operation. It is designed to provide accurate and fast analysis for even the busiest test labs. Covering the full range of tests for clean and wastewater, it is compatible with all Palintest tablet and liquid photometer tests. With no moving parts, all measurements are made instantly, providing a very fast sample throughput. Compatible Palintest Tubetests reagent tubes are coded to provide all the instrument needs for wavelength range and calibration set-up and analysis. The instrument recognizes the tube method and measurement range and automatically sets up for a measurement. The user simply pushes in the tube and the instrument does the rest! The unique multi-size cell holder adjusts automatically to all reagent tubes from 12 mm – 20 mm diameter with no inserts or adaptors required, again speeding up analysis, and making the unit very convenient for the routine analysis of large numbers of samples since no manual intervention is required to change ranges or tube sizes. The cell holder is fully jam- and trap-resistant to allow fast and secure tube swapping. With an innovative permanent dual light source, the correct wavelength is automatically selected. A high efficiency light-focusing system provides a very high level of light throughput to the cells. The high intensity sources are up to 10 times brighter than the conventional optics found in other instruments and the optical system eliminates stray light effects, allowing the instrument to be used at maximum precision. 7. Ammonia Meter

10. Bromometer - Duo

The Palintest Bromometer Duo provides a convenient, accurate and easy to use photometer capable of providing on-the-spot confirmation of disinfectant residual protection levels.
In the field of water management and control, the accurate determination of disinfectant residuals is of prime importance. This is particularly significant for servicing of cooling towers and other bodies of water where contamination could be dangerous to the public.
The Palintest Bromometer Duo offers water service engineers a new flexibility in residual testing. Used in conjunction with the established Palintest DPD Chlorine and Bromine test methods, it provides a simple means of accurately determining Chlorine or Bromine. Using genuine Palintest reagents, it gives a fast check on disinfection and sterilisation levels in tanks and pipework.
The Palintest Bromometer Duo is ideal for many applications. The instrument is equally suitable for bench use in water treatment plants and works laboratories, or for field use by sampling engineers and contractors.

Using the Bromometer Duo could not be simpler – just place the sample tube in the meter and press the ON key. The automatic blank recognition and zero setting makes taking measurements simplicity itself, and the blank reading can be held in memory for testing multiple samples.

11. Molybdate Duo Meter

The Molybdate Duo Meter provides a single meter capable of measuring tracer levels of Molybdate as low as 0.10ppm, with a range of 0.0 to 20.0 ppm and a high range for measuring levels of 0 to 100 ppm as MoO4.
Formulations containing Sodium Molybdate are used as corrosion inhibitors in industrial water treatment. In particular, Molybdate finds application in cooling towers and in closed recirculating systems such as hot water heating and chilled water systems. Molybdates have replaced toxic corrosion inhibitors such as Chromates.
When using Molybdate treatment, it is necessary to control the Molybdate concentration within specified levels depending on the application involved. Molybdates are used extensively for corrosion inhibition and also as a tracer reagent in many boiler and cooling water products. Low levels of Molybdate are mixed in with the products for the determination of product levels in a system i.e. a 1.5 to 2.0 ppm level may indicate 100 ppm of product.
The Molybdate-Duo meter is suitable for bench use in laboratories or for field use by sampling engineers or contractors. The instrument is supplied in a soft carry pouch with a belt loop for maximum portability, or with an optional hard carry case for added convenience. 12. Chlordiox Duo Meter

The Palintest Chlordiox-Duo Dual Range meter provides a fast and easy way to get accurate measurements of ClO2 at levels from 0.1 mg/l to 20 mg/l without all the problems of conventional methods.
Although Chlorine Dioxide has become more and more important as a biocide and sterilisation chemical in recent years, the methods available to monitor CIO2 levels in water have been slow, inaccurate, or have needed a skilled analyst to provide correct answers.
Now the Palintest Chlordiox-Duo Dual Range meter provides a fast and easy way to get accurate measurements of CIO2 at levels from 0.1 mg/l to 20 mg/l without all the problems of conventional methods. Based on well proven published chemical methods, the new Chlorine Dioxide test is specific and sensitive. There is no interference from Chlorine, Chlorite, Hydrogen Peroxide, Manganese or other oxidizing species. This makes testing simple and definite – the Chlordiox-Duo is direct reading with no calculations to perform, it reads out directly in mg/l CIO2. A single test can be completed in just 1 minute.

13. Ferrometer Kit

The Palintest Ferrometer 1000 provides an easy to use but accurate instrument for monitoring iron at any point in a process, or in the field. Part of the Palintest 1000 range of instruments, the Ferrometer combines high build quality with a proven chemistry to give total iron content of water.
Iron occurs widely in nature and is found in many natural and treated waters. In domestic and industrial water supplies it can cause staining of clothes, plumbing fittings and swimming pool surfaces. The formation of insoluble iron deposits can be troublesome in many industrial applications. Iron salts can come from corrosion in plant and equipment, and from the industrial processes themselves. It is important therefore to monitor natural and drinking water, as well as process waters and effluents.
The Palintest Iron MR test uses the industry standard 1,10 phenanthroline test, and is capable of dissolving colloidal and particulate iron to give a true measure of the total iron content. The instrument is suitable for bench use in water treatment plants and labs, as well as for field use by sampling officers and inspectors, or by water quality engineers.
